Crab-eating commercial killed in a boating accident Pinellas

A commercial crab-eating St.Petersburg 60-year-old was killed today when its buggy 20 feet struck 4th Street Bridge in the North of St. Petersburg.

Phillip Johnson, 6618 14th Street North, worked just ship after 10 pm when it reaches the support of the bridge and then careened out of control in some close to mangroves, said agents with the Florida Fish and wildlife conservation Commission.

Cheryl Fitzrandolph said that she saw the boat approaching at full throttle as she caught under the bridge.

"He never slowed down," she said. ""."As the boat is gone under the bridge we heard a thump strong."

Investigators seek to determine whether there was a mechanical problem with the boat or if Johnson may have suffered an autopsy médicale.Une condition is scheduled for Saturday.

Gary Morse, the Florida Fish and wildlife conservation Commission has said that this is the third time this year, a vessel struck a bridge in the Bay area.
